Anna Cazenave Cambet

France

I tell the story of a woman, of several women. Perhaps those from American movies, the girls on the side of the road, always beautiful but a bit destroyed.

Anna Cazenave Cambet was born in 1990, in the South West of France. She studied photography at the ETPA in Toulouse and graduated with the Special Prize awarded by the jury of the Pierre Barbot workshop. In 2017, she graduated from La Femis in film directing. She directed her first short film during her studies, GABBER LOVER (2016), that was part of the Official Selection of the 2016 Cannes FF. The following year, she finished her second short film: LEMANJA - COEUR OC√ČAN (2017). GOLD FOR DOGS (2020) is her feature film debut and was an official selection at La Semaine de la Critique 2020.
