Biography

Pablo Aparo was born in 1986 in Buenos Aires. He graduated from the degree of Image and Sound Design of the University of Buenos Aires (U.B.A.). He also increased his knowledge on directing actors trough workshops in the CEFOPRO (ENERC) with Eloisa Tarruella and Lorena Vega. He worked in the sound studio of the record company EMI. In 2010 he edited and produced the short film LAS SUCIAS, which was part of the Official Selection at 10° BAFICI. As a director, he did the short film CARMELA and several music videos. Since 2011, he works as Assistant Director and Editor in the advertising area for the production company called Look & Feel. In 2012 he co-directed and co-produced the feature length film THE RIVER PEOPLE with Martin Benchimol. The film has received the support of INCAA and was premiered at DOK-Leipzig 2012. His most recent documentary THE DREAD co-directed with  Martin Benchimo screened at Sheffield DocFest 2018.
