Thierry de Peretti

To take responsibility for one’s own stories is a political and artistic challenge: to stay away from clichés, folkloric or exotic representations and obscure forces.

Actor and director, Thierry de Peretti was born in 1970 in Ajaccio. He did a training course within the free class of the Cours Florent (1988/1991). He is a prize-winner of The Villa Medicis Hors-les-murs and obtains the theatrical revelation Prize from the national labor syndicate of criticism in 2001 for LE RETOUR AU DESERT by Bernard-Marie Koltès. He is an actor in LE SILENCE de Orso Miret, L'ETE INDIEN de Alain Raoust and CEUX QUI M'AIMENT PRENDRONT LE TRAIN by Patrice Chéreau. LES APACHES is his first movie. His film UNE VIE VIOLENTE had its world premiere at la Semaine de la Critique in Cannes 2017.
