Born in 1975 in Gandia, Spain, Eloy Enciso graduated in environmental science before studying documentary filmmaking at the San Antonio de los Baños International School of Cinema (EICTV) in Cuba. In 2002 he directed his first short, LA PONCHERA, followed among others by LA CLASE (2003) and NO TAN BUENA VISTA (2003). PIC-NIC (2007), his first feature documentary, won the 2004 Benibecas prize for Best Documentary Project and the First Feature Award at the International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary Film and Reportage (PriMed) in 2008. ARRAIANOS (2012) is his second feature film. His latest work ENDLESS NIGHT (2019) was selected in the Concorso Internazionale section at Locarno FF.
