Pelin Esmer



Pelin Esmer (b. 1972, Turkey) majored in sociology and then she worked as an assistant director for a number of Turkish and foreign projects. In 2005 she founded her own film company, Sinefilm, and made two award winning documentaries before focusing on fiction. Her latest feature SOMETHING USEFUL won the FIPRESCI Award at Istanbul FF 2017, Best Screenplay from Tallinn Black Nights FF and screened at Seattle IFF 2018.
