Fabián Suárez


Fabián Suárez is graduated from Dramaturgy from the Superior Institute of Arts in Cuba. His work as a poet and writer includes prizes and national publications like the Calendario Prize of young Cuban artists. He is studying the last year of the speciality of screenwriting in the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños. His work as a screenwriter includes Mila Caos, directed by Simon Paetau, EICTV – Media Arts Schools of Koin (MoMA – New Directors, New Film 2011 / Cannes 2011 – Directors’ Fortnight). As a director he has KENDO MONOGATARI, Production Prize of the fund CINERGIA. Besides, he has participated in the Talent Campuses of Guadalajara and Berlinale. He has received Workshops with important masters such as Lucrecia Martel, Eliseo Altunaga and Guillermo Arriaga. Nowdays, Fabián Suárez is preparing the production of his First Feature Film titled HORSES.
