To describe Cinema, how I feel about it, is such a difficult thing to do; one of the reasons that makes me an enthusiast about filmmaking is that unparalleled power of creation, narration, and shaping up worlds and stories that I have in mind.

Farnoosh Samadi is an Iranian Director & Scriptwriter who graduated from the Fine Art Academy in Rome, Italy. Her scripts include; MORE THAN TWO HOURS (2013), nominated for a Palme d’Or at Cannes and a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, and THE BABY (2014), which premiered at the Venice IFF. She co-directed and wrote her first short film, THE SILENCE (2016), which was nominated for a Palme d’Or at Cannes. Her second short film GAZE (2017), premiered at Locarno qualified for the Academy Awards. She became a member of the Oscar Academy in 2018. 180° RULE (2020) is her first feature film and premiered at Toronto. She has appeared on the jury of several prominent film festivals.
