Biography

Manuel Ferrari was born in 1981 in Argentina. He graduated from Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires.
He was one of the directors of the collective film REGARDING BUENOS AIRES (2006), screened at Viennale, La Habana and Bafici, among other festivals. He directed (HOW) TO BE DEAD (2008) screened at Viennale, Las Palmas, Valdivia, BAFICI and Ficco, where it won the Best First Film prize. His latest film CHRONICLES OF SOLITUDE (2015) was premiered at FidMarseille 2015.. Manuel has also worked as an editor of films such as LA CARRERA DEL ANIMAL by Nicolás Grosso (Best Argentinean film BAFICI 2011), CAMINO DE CAMPAÑA by Nicolás Grosso (premiered Mar del Plata FF 2014) and VICTORIA by Juan Villegas (premiered BAFICI 2015). He has also been the producer of THE INTERN by Clara Picasso (2010) that premiered at Rotterdam in 2010 and participated in BAFICI, Toulouse, Gijón FF, Valdivia, Warsaw, among others.
He is currently editing the experimental film IMPRESSIONS ON THE THE CONQUEST and developing OVERNIGHT, his next feature film to be shot in Chile (which has received various prizes such us a development award from Riviera Lab -RMFF- Mexico).
For the last ten years he has been the Program Coordinator for "Talents Buenos Aires" in collaboration with Berlinale and BAFICI.
