Marc J. Francis is an award-winning filmmaker whose films have been shown throughout the world in cinemas and on television. His most notable films to date include the Sundance hit BLACK GOLD, which won worldwide critical acclaim and WHEN CHINA MET AFRICA- a multi-broadcast project involving BBC Storyville and Arte France.

His latest film WALK WITH ME, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, is a feature length film about a monastic community who follow the teachings of their Zen Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh.
