Sandra Kogut began as a film and video artist before turning to documentary and fiction films. Her first feature MUTUM (2007, Brazil / France) premiered at Cannes (Directors’ Fortnight) and went on to numerous festivals including Toronto and Rotterdam. The film received more than twenty awards worldwide including a Special Mention from the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk at Berlinale 2008. Kogut’s documentary films include the award– winning PASSAGERS D’ORSAY (2003, France); UN PASSEPORT HONGROI S (2001, France / Belgium / Hungary / Brazil); and ADIEU MONDE (1997, France). Her latest film is CAMPO GRANDE.
