Biography

Pedro Pinho graduated in Film Studies in the School of Theatre and Cinema in Amadora, Lisbon and ENS -­‐ Louis Lumière in Paris. In 2005 and 2006 he attended the courses of Directing and Screenwriting of the London Film School at the Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian in Lisbon. In 2008 he co-­‐directed with Frederico Lobo the Documentary BAB SEBTA (2008) which won the prize Marseille Esperance in FID Marseille, and the competitions in DOCLISBOA and FORUM DOC and BH. In 2009 he founded with other fellow directors and producers the production company TERRATREME FILMES. Since then he directed his first feature film A END OF THE WORLD (2013) (world premiere at the 64º Berlinale) and co-­‐directed with Luísa Homem the documentary AS CIDADES E AS TROACAS (2014) (world premiere at the 25º FID MARSEILLE) .
