Wisit Sasanatieng



After his training at Silpakorn University, Bangkok’s most important art school, Wisit Sasanatieng (1964, Thailand) worked as a director of commercials. He wrote scripts for his friend and colleague Nonzee Nimibutr, including Nang Nak (1999). Tears of the Black Tiger (2000), his directing debut, was the first Thai film ever selected officially for the Cannes Film Festival.

His latest films include THE UNSEEABLE (2008) and RED EAGLE (2010). He contributed a segment to 10 YEAR THAILAND (2018).
