Juan Schnitman



Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1980, he grew up in the countryside before returning to Buenos Aires in the 1990s to study film directing at the Universidad del Cine (FUC). After graduating, he co-wrote and codirected LOVE (PART ONE) with Santiago Mitre, Alejandro Fadel and Martín Mauregui in 2005. The film premiered in the Settimana Internazionale della Critica at Venice. In 2007 he co-wrote and co-directed GRANDE PARA LA CIUDAD about the Uruguayan Brit-pop band Astroboy. EL INCENDIO is his solo fiction debut.
