Biography

Cecilia Ştefănescu is a Romanian writer and journalist born in 1975 in Bucharest. She holds a degree in Litarature from the University of Bucharest and a Master's degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. She started her literary activities in the group Litere, directed by the writer Mircea Cărtărescu. She collaborates with many magazines, she has published several novels and has participated in different collective works. In 2016, she wrote and directed the short film FERDINAND 13, which won a Special Mention at Zagreb IFF. Her second short film is MORSKI BRIZ (2018), presented at Transilvania IFF.
