Erick Stoll, Chase Whiteside



Erick Stoll & Chase Whiteside are non-fiction filmmakers from Ohio. They co-founded the political web series NEW LEFT MEDIA, which tracked political movements under the Obama presidency, and co-directed LIFELIKE, a dispassionate reconstruction of the taxidermic process. Stoll additionally co-directed GOOD WHITE PEOPLE, which won Best Short prizes at Camden and Indie Memphis, among others. Whiteside, now based in Brooklyn, additionally directed a short profile of an undocumented immigrant who worked in a Trump hotel, which received widespread media coverage. They were featured in Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2017, and are currently on tour with their first feature-length documentary, AMÉRICA.
