In my films, none of the characters change at all. They don't learn from their mistakes at all... It's about just being yourself. And it's just organic; it's just natural for me. Maybe it's me just trying to explain why I can't change.
Takashi Miike was born in Osaka, Japan. He is a graduate of the Yokohama Vocational School of Broadcast and Film. His vast filmography, much of which has screened at the Festival, includes THE BIRD PEOPLE IN CHINA (98), AUDITION (99), VISITOR Q (01), ICHI THE KILLER (01), and THIRTEEN ASSASSINS (10). OVER YOUR DEAD BODY (14) is his latest film, which premiered at Toronto IFF.
