Rafael Urban



Rafael Urban is a filmmaker who runs Sto Lat Filmes, a producing company based in Curitiba, Brazil. He has directed works such as DINOSAUR EGGS IN THE LIVING ROOM (Rotterdam, 2012) and TO WHAT DO I OWE THE HONOR OF THIS ILLUSTRIOUS VISIT? (Cinéma du Réel, 2014). His previous films were seen in 250 festivals in 27 countries. He teaches documentary at Cuba Intl. Film School. He also coordinates the project Ficção Viva, which runs workshops in Brazil with directors such as Lucrecia Martel and Pedro Costa. Rafael was the recipient of the 2018 Eduardo Coutinho Fellowship, by Doc's Kingdom.
