Li Xiaofeng



Li Xiaofeng was born in 1978, in China. In 2001, he enrolled at the LUCA School of Arts, in Sint-Lukas, Brussels, to study filmmaking. He has recently finished his second film, ASH (2017), and was also invited to be a creative tutor at Chongqing University in 2017. His debut work, NEZHA (2014), was nominated for Best New Director and Best Adapted Screenplay awards at the Golden Horse Film Festival 2014, in Taiwan; entered into New Currents at Busan International Film Festival 2014, and main competition for Best Picture at Nantes Three Continents Film Festival 2015, in France; was selected as Opening Film at the Russian Sakhalin International Film Festival 2015; and won Best Supporting Actress and Best Female Newcomer at the China Movie Channel Media Awards of Shanghai International Film Festival 2015. In 2007, he was a scriptwriter for and leading actor in DADA'S DANCE (Zhang Yuan, 2008), which was an official entry at the Dubai International Film Festival 2008 and the Sundance Film Festival 2009.
