Filmfest München

Filmfest München is one of Europe’s most significant film festivals with over 80,000 admissions each year. Every summer established as well as emerging filmmakers from around the globe gather in Munich for 10 days and nights to meet and celebrate cinema. The focus is always on the movies and the encounters between filmmakers and their audiences. Filmfest München screens about 200 feature films, documentaries and TV movies each year. The diversity of the medium in all its facets is what attracts both filmmakers and fans.
