Created in 1982 as the Festival Internazionale Cinema Giovani and renamed in 1997, the Torino Film Festival takes its place right from the start in the ranks of “New Cinema”, hosting a vast range of new expressive means. Apart from the International Competition, the Festival is also renowned for his competitions of Italian documentaries and short films.
