Trento Film Festival

Founded in Italy in 1952, Trento Film Festival is the first and longest-running international event dedicated to the culture of mountains, to their stories and their people. The festival has represented the point of reference on these subjects for almost 70 years, over time transforming itself into a genuine testing ground for visions and ideas on the highest and most remote lands on Earth, and embracing an ever-increasing range of works and interests, making the festival program more rich and exciting. On the occasion of its first hybrid edition, the festival is introducing on Festival Scope Pro a selection of recent Italian documentary works from the 2020 line-up, most of which by upcoming directors and never screen internationally, representing the Italian landscape, from the Alps to the South, as the complex outcome of traditions, human activities and ongoing transformations.
