    Director's Statement

Despite the dramatic topics of immigration and exploitation, the main goal of the film was to show life as it is: tragic and comic. I didn’t want to tell simply a story, but to put the audience in the role of witnesses of some moments in live of my main characters. I tried to avoid manipulating the dramaturgy through editing or sound and give the audience the task to judge what they see and to choose what they what to see. For me this form was more appropriate in order to void propaganda and to give more space for contemplation about the dark sides of the contemporary world of work.
