Synopsis

Thierry Loa invites us to a true film experience with this symphonic look at our civilization, in which his grand images document the marks left by the Anthropocene era in the western world full of machines, technology and dense crowds. Gorgeously shot in black and white film, images of our societies succeed one another over an immersive soundtrack, standing in for speech. Somewhere between the avant-garde city symphony films of the 1920s and the works of Godfrey Reggio, 20-22 OMEGA combines fascination with the new world and the looming end of the world – like its title, which represents the previous century, the next, and the last letter of the Greek alphabet.
