    AGIT POP, a French cultural magazine started a decade ago, is closing down due to severe financial problems. The ultimate closing times should be an occasion for joyous reunions among old friends, enemies and lovers around the completion of this special issue. This final day will become however a disaster on a Biblical scale.

    Born in Paris in 1974, Nicolas Pariser studied law, philosophy, art history and film before starting his career as a film critic for the magazine "Sofa". He then worked for director Pierre Rissient for four years. In 2008, he directed his first short film, LE JOUR OU SEGOLENE A GAGNE and one year later, the medium-length, THE REPUBLIC, recipient of the Jean Vigo award 2010. In 2013, his short AGIT POP was selected at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. THE GREAT GAME, his debut feature film, got selected for Locarno Film Festival in 2015. His latest feature film ALICE AND THE MAYOR (2019) premiered at Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.
