I am very interested in how our emotional lives occupy a space on the surface of our bodies, the impact that these bodies have in space and time, and the presence and power of an action, its consequences, both inside and outside the frame.
Lina Rodríguez studied Cinema in Toronto. She has written, directed and produced several short films, video and cinema installations, and performances. She is known for the experimental short film PROTOCOL (2011) and SEÑORITAS, her first feature film (2013). Her latest film ANTE MIS OJOS premieres at the Toronto IFF.
