
One morning the old janitor in a mountain hut finds a scared, young woman hiding in the kitchen. Moments later, a middle aged man – her lover – enters the hut, introduces himself as her uncle and starts asking about her. The old man decides to protect her and lies, saying he hadn’t seen anyone around. At the end that decision will cost him dearly.

Gjorce Stavreski is a film director born on December 28th 1978 in Skopje, Macedonia. He graduated on the National Film Academy FDA in Skopje and went one to join several directors' workshops such as Berlinale Talent Campus and the ZagrebDox Pitching Forum. He writes his own scripts and his films were shown on many film festivals on which occasion he has been awarded (ASTERFEST, ZagrebDox, Clermont Ferrand ISFF) . His filmography notably includes AT DAYBREAK, D SKOPJE (SKOPJE LOVERS) and AUDITION MATERIAL. His latest project THE SECRET INGREDIENT premiered at Talinn Black Night FF.
