    I think it’s rather fruitless to have too much conversations, as it might become the intervention of the director. It’s like leading people to somewhere just in order to get an answer. I hope during the shooting in the future, this kind of intervention would be lesser.

    Lee Yong-chao was born in the rural countryside of northern Burma. In 2015, he was accepted into the Golden Horse Film Academy founded by Hou Hsiao-hsien. Lee currently divides his creative time between Taiwan and Myanmar. His films have been screened in numerous international film festivals, such as Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and Warsaw Film Festival. His first feature-length documentary Blood Amber had its world premier at Locarno Film Festival.
