Colombia’s future is at stake. After 53 years of armed conflict, the FARC guerrillas are about to hand over their arms in exchange for the social inclusion of the poor. While FARC guerrilla Ernesto thrives for a change, opposing forces arise: A furious right-wing politician and a descendant of Spanish conquistadors want to reclaim the country. The peace runs the country in a chaos in which everyone wants to guarantee either their privileges or just the basic needs.

Director's Statement
In our film, we examine if a nation can stop the cycle of violence that has lasted for decades, even centuries. We have wanted to approach the opposing forces from different social layers from a humane perspective trying to understand the reasons that keep the cycle repeating itself. When things get as complex as in Colombia, nothing seems to be black and white.
