Much of the story pivots on a wedding that drink by drink, tremor by tremor, transforms into a kind of wake as glimpses of a lost world make it explicit what and who haunts this land.
Marcin Wrona was a director, screenwriter, and producer from Poland. His short film MAGNET MAN, won acclaim at numerous film festivals. His first feature MY FLESH MY BLOOD premiered at the Rome FF where it was awarded. His second feature THE CHRISTENING, premiered at San Sebastian IFF, Toronto FF, and Warsaw FF and was awarded at Warsaw as well as numerous other festivals. His last film DEMON premiered at Gdyina Polish FF in 2015. Marcin Wrona died in September 2015.
