I think cinema allows us to reflect or take a stand in way of seeing and understanding the world through images and sounds, which I think is really powerful because it allows us to connect with each other's feelings and emotions.

Ignacio Juricic Merillán has directed the short films LA TOMA (2013), CONTRACANCHA (2013) and LOCAS PERDIDAS (2015), premiered at the Cannes Festival, where it won the Queer Palm for Best LGBT Short Film. ENIGMA, his first feature film, was funded by the Chilean national Fondo de Fomento Audiovisual and the Tribeca Film Institute's Latin America Fund and was selected in its development for Australab – FIC Valdivia, Rotterdam Lab, SANFIC LAB and the Lobo Lab at the Mar del Plata Festival, as well as for Guadalajara Construye and Films in Progress Toulouse 2018.
