Nancy receives the offer from a TV programme on unsolved mysteries to participate in the episode telling the story of her daughter, a young lesbian beaten to death, a crime for which no-one has been found guilty eight years after it was committed. Nancy confronts her family and each one’s version of the events, as she decides whether or not to participate in the space and learn more about the person her daughter was.

I think cinema allows us to reflect or take a stand in way of seeing and understanding the world through images and sounds, which I think is really powerful because it allows us to connect with each other's feelings and emotions.
Ignacio Juricic Merillán has directed the short films LA TOMA (2013), CONTRACANCHA (2013) and LOCAS PERDIDAS (2015), premiered at the Cannes Festival, where it won the Queer Palm for Best LGBT Short Film. ENIGMA, his first feature film, was funded by the Chilean national Fondo de Fomento Audiovisual and the Tribeca Film Institute's Latin America Fund and was selected in its development for Australab – FIC Valdivia, Rotterdam Lab, SANFIC LAB and the Lobo Lab at the Mar del Plata Festival, as well as for Guadalajara Construye and Films in Progress Toulouse 2018.
