    Documentary

How can the music of Johann Sebastian Bach translate into the experiences of contemporary man? The most beautiful aria from ‘St Matthew Passion’ becomes the starting point for intimate confessions about suffering and death made by eminent artists (conductors, singers, painters and authors) as well as simple people, including the homeless of Amsterdam who are members of an amateur choir singing, among others, Bach’s ‘Passion’. Their stories make a musical and visual poem on the screen.
