    Andy, a hard working Cypriot immigrant in London who deep-fries his way into oblivion, decides to leave London for his native Cyprus. Having slaved away for others his entire life, he finally opens his very own chip shop. But his dream turns into a nightmare, as he seems to have overlooked one small detail: Cyprus just isn't London!

    Elias Demetriou was born in Famagusta, Cyprus. He has studied Theology in Athens University and Film Directing. He lives in Athens were he works as film director. In 2008 he founded the Ammos Films company to co-produce his first film and documentaries for the Greek National Television. He has been awarded many times for his first feature film and for all of his shorts and docs in various international films festivals.
