    Yuri, 16, has lived all his life in Gagarin Towers, a vast red-brick housing project on the outskirts of Paris. He dreams of becoming an astronaut. When plans to demolish Gagarin Towers leak out, Yuri joins the resistance. With his friends Diana and Houssam, he embarks on a mission to save their home, which has become his “starship.”

    After studying at Sciences Po, Fanny Liatard lived in Beirut, then in Marseille where she worked on artistic projects related to urban changes. This is how she trained in video, first on animated film projects, then on fiction projects. She then joined La Ruche, a screenwriting residency at Gindou Cinéma. Since 2015, she wrote and directed with Jeremy Trouilh three short fiction films: LA RÉPUBLIQUE DES ENCHANTEURS (2015), GAGARINE (2016) and CHIEN BLEU (2018). Their first feature film, GAGARINE (2020), was selected at Cannes 2020.

    After his studies at Sciences Po and a few years in Colombia, Jérémy Trouilh followed a Master's Degree in "Creative Documentary Filmmaking" at Lussas. He then developed a documentary project with an indigenous community in Colombia, Behind the Black Line. At the same time, he directed commercials and music videos. Since 2015, he wrote and directed with Fanny Liatard three short fiction films: LA RÉPUBLIQUE DES ENCHANTEURS (2015), GAGARINE (2016) and CHIEN BLEU (2018). Their first feature film, GAGARINE (2020), was selected at Cannes 2020.
