For Ivan, the glass is always half empty, never half full. The widowed former music teacher in his late 70s feels, as do his children, that the time has come to go. He buys a plot in the cemetery – with a great view of the mountains – and moves into a old people's home. But Ivan's plan to allow his life to end in a fairly businesslike manner goes badly wrong. On a computer course he didn't really want to attend he gets to know another inhabitant of the home and experiences something he'd forgotten existed: fun. Good to Go is a bitter-sweet comedy that turns our idea of being old on its head.
