Argentina
Ariel ROTTER (1973, Argentina) enrolled at the Universidad del Cine in 1992. His short films LEGOLAS (1993) and SPECTROS (1995) won prizes at several festivals. His debut feature film SOLO POR HOY (2011) was selected at the Berlinale Panorama and went on to win 15 international awards. In 2007, his second feature, EL OTRO, participated in the Berlinale Competition where it won two Silver Bears. In 2011, Rotter produced LAS ACACIAS by Pablo Giorgelli which received the Golden Camera award at Cannes. Today, he is one of the most renowned indie directors both locally and internationally. His most recent work, INCIDENT LIGHT (2015), was selected at Rotterdam IFF, Fribourg IFF and awarded the Fipresci Award among others at Mar del Plata IFF.
