    Julia Ducournau (Paris, 1983) graduates from La Femis in 2008. She works as a story editor and a script consultant until 2011 when she directs her first short film, JUNIOR. The film was awarded in numerous international festivals among which Cannes Critic’s Week, Premiers Plans Angers, Paris Cinema or Next Bucharest and was sold to TV in France (Canal+), Italy (RTI), Spain (Prisa TV) and Belgium (BeTV). In 2012 she co-directs a TV feature for Canal+, MANGE. Her first feature-length film RAW is currently in production.
