In a post-industrial port town that has long since seen the back of economic prosperity, car-jacker Rob gets in over his head, thanks to his best friend Leo’s bad influence and is arrested boosting a car that is laden with drugs. This destroys Rob’s already fragile relationship with his dying dad, Oswald, whom he cares for at home.

Born in the Netherlands. In 2007, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Study at Ultrecht University. That same year he enrolled in the film directing program at the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts under the artistic guidance of the brilliant and always swearing Oliver Stone. In 2010, he started a fulltime job at the acclaimed agency Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam as an editor and filmmaker. He directed and edited TVC’s including award winning digital content. In May 2013, he graduated from Tisch and obtained his M.F.A in film directing after completing his thesis film Junkie XL that opened at Hamburg FF. In 2015, Film London funded his short film JACKED starring Thomas Turgoose (This Is England) and Charley Palmer Rothwell (Legend). The BIFA award winning short had its national premiere at BFI London FF and International premiere at Berlinale 2016. In 2016, his feature script LOOTED got commissioned by the Film London Microwave scheme. LOOTED (2019) is his debut feature.
