Heather Young was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. She has made the short films DOG GIRL (2009), GREEN (2013), HOWARD AND JEAN (2014), FISH (2016), and MILK (2017), of which the latter two were selected for the Canada's Top Ten Film Festival. MURMUR (2019) is her feature film debut.
