    Cynthia Lowen is the director and producer of NETIZENS, a feature documentary exposing the proliferation of cyber harassment faced by women, spreading from the web to the most intimate corners of their lives. She is also the producer/writer of the acclaimed documentary BULLY, depicting “a year in the life” of America’s bullying crisis. Lauded by reviewers, BULLY was nominated for two Emmys and awarded the Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia Award for excellence in journalism. Cynthia is also a writer and winner of the National Poetry Series for her collection, The Cloud That Contained the Lightning. Cynthia attended Colorado College and received her MFA in creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College. She lives in New York City.
