This last documentary remains in my opinion, the best of Karim Sayad and probably not the last.
Karim Sayad was born in Lausanne in 1984 to an Algerian father and a Swiss mother. After completing an MA in International Relations, his first short, BABOR CASANOVA, premiered at Locarno in 2016 and was then shown in more than twenty festivals worldwide. His first feature documentary OF SHEEP AND MEN premiered at TIFF in 2017, and was then selected at Festival dei Popoli, the Sao Paulo Mostra and RIDM (Canada) and won the prestigious Prix de Soleure in 2018. MY ENGLISH COUSIN is his second feature documentary.
