    Director's Statement

PINGPONG was my graduation film at filmschool Potsdam-Babelsberg. In this first feature film, I was interested in exploring the microcosme of a middleclass-family in a character-driven story. The minimalistic setting allowed us to create a claustrophobic and disturbing atmosphere, seen through the eyes of an outsider who longs for a new family.
