    Gabe Klinger has contributed to various publications of repute, and some that aren’t reputable at all. Klinger occasionally molds young minds at University of Illinois and Columbia College in Chicago, where his focus has been film history and aesthetics. He has also programmed and consulted for various festivals, museums, squats, drive-ins, etc. His book on Joe Dante, co-edited by Nil Baskar, was released by the Austrian Filmmuseum/Columbia University Press in 2013. His first feature film, DOUBLE PLAY: JAMES BENNING AND RICHARD LINKLATER, won the Venezia Classics Award for Best Documentary at the Venice IFF in 2013.
