Ricky Nasser is a young Australian whose peaceful suburban life turns to hell when his sister Ameena disappears without a trace. In a climate of distrust and xenophobia, Ricky is forced to denounce her as an extremist.

Partho Sen-Gupta was born in Mumbai and began his career as art director and production designer for feature films, TV and commercials in India. He then studied Film Direction at La Fémis, Paris, and his first feature film, LET THE WIND BLOW, screened at the Berlinale in 2004. His second feature SUNRISE (2014) premiered at Busan International Film Festival and won Best Film and Best Cinematography at Durban International Film Festival, Best Film at Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival, an Honourable Mention at Munich, and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
