When confronted with life's finiteness, a family views a loved one's illness through different lenses. Daughter Anne-Michèle focuses on a second pregnancy and the perpetuation of life; father Jean-François chooses to enlarge the family's abode to embrace the arrival of a new grandchild. And son David wields his camera to capture heartfelt moments viewed from a range of perspectives. THE GREAT JOURNEY is an upfront and intimate account of a family's resilience in the face of personal loss.
