    Tito is a shy 10-year-old boy who lives with his mother. One day, an unusual epidemic starts to spread. People are becoming sick whenever they get scared. Tito quickly discovers that the cure is related to his missing father’s research on bird song. With his friends, he embarks on a journey to save the world from the epidemic.

    Gustavo Steinberg (1973, Sao Paulo, Brazil) has studied in Sao Paulo and in London, and has already produced three feature films. He has written the screenplays for two of them, CHRONICALLY UNFEASIBLE (2000) and 1.99 - A SUPERMARKET THAT SELLS WORDS (2003). Steinberg also wrote two books; the novel Pleasures of Solitude and the scientific work Politics in Bits or Politics in Pieces. His feature debut was END OF THE LINE (2008), which was realised with the financial support of the Hubert Bals Fund. TITO AND THE BIRDS (2018) is his animation debut and screened at the Annecy Film Festival.
