A brief filmmaker's notebook, in two parts, both silent. The first was filmed in and around a village in Messenia, Greece, and the second in the Cévennes region of the south of France.

Nick Collins studied history at the University of Cambridge and film at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. His work has been exhibited in such venues as ICA London and MOMA Oxford, the Image Forum in Tokyo, and the Culture Trasversali in Italy. His films include WHERE THE ARUN MEETS THE SEA (2009), LOUTRA BATHS (2011) and TRISSÁKIA 3 (2013). His latest short WITTNERCHROME NOTES I AND II (2018) is selected at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2019.
