Lithuanian Film Centre
The Lithuanian Film Centre, established in May, 2012, is a State institution under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The aim of the Centre is to participate in the designing of the effective film sector policy and to foster the sustainability of the Lithuanian film industry.
The Lithuanian Film Centre allocates subsidies for the development and production of Lithuanian films and co-productions. It is responsible for promotion of Lithuanian films at home and abroad: it supports Lithuanian film promotion at various film festivals, participates in film markets, and represents Lithuania at international organizations. LFC carries out film literacy development initiatives. The Centre is responsible for preservation and dissemination of Lithuanian film heritage as well as research and film statistics.
