For more than 70 years, UniFrance has been using its experience of the international marketplace to support French cinema worldwide. UniFrance is based in Paris and also has representatives for the U.S., China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. Its membership brings together around 1,000 French producers, filmmaking talents, agents and sales companies, which are working together to promote French film among foreign audiences, industry executives and media.

UniFrance, in charge of promoting French cinema throughout the world, is present at every stage in the life of a French film abroad: from selection by a recognised festival or its screening in an international market, to its theatrical release in one or more foreign territories. UniFrance thus enhances the value of all recent French films. UniFrance takes part in more than 60 international festivals and markets.

Young French Cinema is a program of UniFrance and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., as a way to bring French films with no US distribution to art house cinemas, film societies, the Alliance Française network and American universities. For the third year in a row, it offers a selection of today’s best films and filmmakers.
