How is security taken care of?
Festival Scope Pro uses the best available technology to give rights holders the necessary security guarantees for protected streaming (i.e. films cannot be copied or downloaded).
Festival Scope Pro is only accessible to registered film professionals. Each membership is closely monitored.
Professionals have a personal login (associated with their professional e-mail) and the name of each user appears on the screen as a film is being watched (unless the rights holder prefers otherwise).
In addition, each user can only watch a film once, in order to prevent sharing of personal logins with other people.

Why is Festival Scope Pro more secure than most video platforms?
Festival Scope Pro is more secure because additional levels of encryption have been added to prevent people using available software to download films without permission. This software works with most video platforms, but not with Festival Scope Pro. Please contact us if you need more details.
Also, don’t forget that we allow only 1 viewing per person and with a personalized watermark.

Will the presence on Festival Scope Pro affect the “premiere” status of the film?
No, Festival Scope Pro is like a private screening room and not a screening of the film open to the public. It’s comparable to sending a private link or screener.
